World Cultures & Geography
Learning about the people we share the world with is a vital component of any child's education.
Organized by one of our more experienced group members, World Cultures is held monthly. Each month we explore the culture, dress, food, music and crafts of a different culture through a hands-on learning experience.
World Cultures is hosted by a different family volunteer each month, giving everyone a chance to share their heritage and interests!
Christmas Around the World
In December, children will pick a country to study, learn how they celebrate this time of the year, bring a craft and cook some food to share.
Annual Events
There are several annual events such as the MFH spring picnic, Valentine's Day party, Spring Festival, Fall Festival, and a yearbook signing party.
